Alisa Hadfield is a judge on the Second Judicial District Court in New Mexico. She was appointed by Governor Bill Richardson in December 2010 to succeed Angela A. Jewell.[1]

She is running for retention in 2014.[2]

Alisa Hadfield defeated the winner of the Republican primary, David A. Standridge, in the general election, winning 57.08% of the vote.[3][4]

Education

Hadfield received her J.D. from Hofstra School of Law in New York.[1]

Career

Prior to joining the court, Hadfield served as a prosecutor and assistant public defender in the area of criminal law; she was assigned to children's court and represented minors. After her initial public service, she worked as a private practice attorney.[5][6]
