Brenda S. Stedham is a Presiding Circuit Judge of the Family Court Division of Circuit 7 in Alabama. She was elected to the court in 2008 and took office in January of 2009. Her current term expires in 2015.[1][2][3]

Education

Stedham received her B.A. cum laude(Political Science) from Birmingham-Southern College and her J.D. from the University of Alabama Law School.[4] In 2009, Stedham completed the two week General Jurisdiction course at the National Judicial College as well as a one week training on family courts. In 2012, Stedham completed a week of judicial training on drug courts. She has attended state judicial training two times each year since she took the bench in 2009.
