Francis M. Devaney is a judge for the Superior Court of San Diego County in California. He was appointed by former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on January 24, 2005 to succeed Vincent P. DiFiglia. Devaney was most recently re-elected in 2012 and his current term will expire in January 2019.[1][2]

Education

Devaney received a bachelor's degree from Hobart College and a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.[2]

Career

2012 election

Devaney ran for re-election to the Superior Court in 2012. As an unopposed incumbent, his name did not appear on the ballot. After the primary election, Devaney was automatically re-elected.[3]
