Kings County Supreme Court, Civil Term in the 2nd Judicial District of New York. She was elected to this position in 1995 and was re-elected in 2009 to a term ending in 2022.
Dabiri received her B.A. degree from Marymount College in 1973 and her J.D. degree from the Syracuse University School of Law in 1976. She was also named a Charles Revson Fellow of Columbia University in 1999.
Dabiri began her career in 1976 as a staff attorney for the Legal Aid Society. The following year, she became an Assistant District Attorney of Westchester County, a position she held until 1983. She then worked as General Counsel to the New York State Liquor Authority until 1988. From 1988 to 1990, she was a principal law clerk to Justice George Smith of the Appellate Division, 1st Department. She also worked as a lecturer at Baruch College in 1989 and 1990.
