Joni M. Cutler is a magistrate judge for the Second Judicial Circuit in South Dakota. Cutler's appointment was approved by the South Dakota Supreme Court on May 2, 2013.[1][1]

She is a judge-elect of the Second Judicial Circuit Court. She was elected in November 2014, effective January 2015, for a term that expires in 2022.[2]

Education

Cutler received her J.D. at the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1995. Cutler received a BILLD certificate in Legislative Leadership Development from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 2003 and her Executive Education Certificate from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, in 2005.[4]
