Joseph E. Fahey is a judge for the Onondaga County Court in New York. He has served in this position since 1997, following his election. He was re-elected in 2006 and his current term ends in 2016.[1]

Education

Fahey received his B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee in 1971 and his J.D. degree from the Syracuse University School of Law in 1975. He later earned his LLM degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2003.[1]

Career

Fahey began his career in 1976 as a senior staff attorney of the Frank H. Hiscock Legal Aid Society. He worked in that capacity until 1979. He also worked as a partner of the law firm Wiles & Fahey and taught as an adjunct professor of the Syracuse University College of Law prior to becoming a County Court judge in 1997.[1]
