Kimberly K. Hornak is a Utah Third Judicial District judge for Salt Lake County for the courthouse of Matheson of the Third District Juvenile.[1] Hornak was appointed to this position in October 1994 by Gov. Michael O. Leavitt.[2]

Education

Hornak received her J.D. from Gonzaga University College of Law in 1983.[2]

Career

After earning her degree, Hornak worked as a staff attorney with Utah Legal Services in Odgden. From 1985 to 1986, she was a staff attorney for the Legal Aid Society. She then worked as assistant attorney general from 1986 to 1988. Hornak served as Deputy Salt Lake County Attorney from 1988 until 1994. She was appointed to the Third District Juvenile Court in October of 1994.[2]
