Madison County is the only county in the 23rd Circuit of Alabama.[1]

The people of Madison County are served by a Circuit Court, District Court, Probate Court and five Municipal Courts.

The United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama has jurisdiction in Madison County. Appeals from the Northern District go to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Madison County District Court

Though Christopher Messervy won the Republican primary runoff, he was disqualified by the Republican Party prior to the general election. The party will endorse a different candidate, who will run unopposed in November.[6]
