Mark C. Dillon is an associate justice of the New York Supreme Court 9th Judicial District, serving on the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Second Department. He was appointed to the Appellate Division by Governor Pataki on August 25, 2005. He was first elected to the Supreme Court on November 2, 1999. He was re-elected in 2013 for a term that expires in 2027.

Dillon was rated "Highly Qualified" by New York's Independent Judicial Election Qualification Commissions (IJEQC).
Judge Dillon received a B.A. degree from Colgate University in 1981, a J.D. degree from Fordham Law School in 1984, and an M.A. degree from New York University in 1990. He also attended the University of Salzburg in Austria in 1985. In addition to his legal career, he has worked as an adjunct professor at the Fordham School of Law since the spring of 2008.
Judge Dillon began his legal career in March of 1985 as an Assistant District Attorney of Westchester County. From January 1, 1988 to June 4, 1997, he worked as a trial attorney for the firm Cerussi & Spring and as a Town Justice for Yorktown, NY. For the last half of 1997, he judged on the Westchester County Court. He was appointed to this position by governor Pataki on May 9, 1997 and was confirmed by the State Senate on May 28th. On January 1, 1998, he left to work as a partner of the firm Dillon & Sarcone, L.L.P. for two years. He was then elected to the State Supreme Court on November 2, 1999. He was appointed to serve on the Appellate Division's Second Department in 2005.
