Martha Good ran for judge on the Ohio First District Court of Appeals in 2010 and 2012. In 2011, she ran for judge on the Hamilton County Municipal Court in Ohio.

Education

Good received her undergraduate degree in Government from Skidmore College and a Ph.D. in Political Science from Brown University. In 1985, she earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati.[1]

Career

After receiving her law degree, Good clerked for Judge David Porter. Throughout her career, Good has primarily worked in private practice. During that time, however, she served as a Circuit Mediator for the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and an arbitrator for the Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas. She is also a professor of Political Science at Miami University.[1]

Good was defeated by incumbent Russell Mock in the general election on November 8, receiving only 37.6% of the vote.[5][6]
