Maureen F. Delehanty is a judge of the Cook County Circuit Court and the Cook County 3rd Subcircuit in Illinois. She serves in the Child Protection Division.[1]

Delehanty was appointed in October of 2009 (effective November 16) to replace Ronald Riley. She was reappointed in 2010 and later elected in 2012 to a full term that expires in December of 2018.[2][3][4]

Education

Delehanty earned her J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in 1992.[5]

Career

Delehanty worked as an assistant state's attorney in Cook County prior to her judicial appointment in 2009.[6]

2012 election

Delehanty was elected without opposition on November 6, 2012 to fill the subcircuit seat vacated by Patrick McGann. She won the Democratic primary on March 20, 2012, receiving 65.36% of the vote.[4][7][8]
