Michael A. Shurn is a judge for the circuit court of Pulaski County in Indiana. His current term expires in 2018.

Education

Shurn received his BA from the University of Indianapolis. He received his J.D. from Indiana University's McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis.[1]

Awards and associations

In 2011, Shurn received the H.J. Halleck Award. The Hallek Award is a community service award, which is given annually to a person who makes their community better[2]

Elections

2012

Shurn ran unopposed for re-election to the court in 2012.[3] He was successful in his bid, receiving 100% of the vote.[4]

2006

In 2006, Shurn ran for judge to the circuit court of Pulaski County, Indiana. In the Democratic primary he ran unopposed. In the general election he ran against Republican John A. Kocher. Shurn won the general election receiving 63% of the vote.[5]
