Michelle Morley is a Sumter County judge of the Fifth Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. She was elected to this position on September 5, 2006 (effective the following January). She was re-elected in 2012 and her current term expires in January of 2019.[1][2][3][4]

Biography and Education

Morley was born in the Bronx, NY. She received her B.S. degree from the University of Tampa and her J.D. degree from the Stetson University College of Law (1986).[5][6]


Morley worked as a private practice lawyer (with an emphasis in family law and civil litigation) prior to her election to the circuit court in 2006.[6]

2012 election

Morley was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the primary election on August 14, 2012.[7]
