Myra Scott-McNary is a county judge of the Pinellas County Court of Florida. She was appointed by Governor Lawton Chiles in 1994. Her current term expires on January 8, 2019.[1]


Scott-McNary earned her B.A. from Alabama State University and her J.D. from Howard University in Washington, D.C.[1]


Before her appointment to the Pinellas County Court, she worked as a staff attorney for Gulfcoast Legal Services and as an assistant county attorney for Pinellas County.[1]

2012 election

McNary was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the Nov. 6, 2012 general election.[2][3]
