Pauline Drake is a judge on the Duval County Court, Division I, in Florida. Her current term expires on January 8, 2019.[1] She was appointed by Governor Lawton Chiles in 1998.[2]

Education

Drake earned her B.S. from Tuskegee University in 1974 and an M.A. in Special Education from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1976. She later earned her J.D. from the University of Florida in 1984.[2]

Career

Judge Drake was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1986. Before serving on the Duval County Court, she worked as an assistant state attorney, regional legal advisor for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and in private practice.[2]

2012 election

Drake was unopposed and automatically re-elected following the Nov. 6, 2012 general election.[3][4]
