Robert O. Amador is a judge for the Superior Court of San Diego County in California. He was elected to the court in 2012 to a term expiring in January 2019.[1]


Amador received his J.D. from the University of San Diego Law School.[2]


Prior to joining the court, Amador was a Deputy district attorney in San Diego County.[2]

2012 election

Amador won 33.94% of the vote in the primary election on June 5. Because no one received more than 50%, he and Jim Miller competed in the general election. Amador was elected to the court on November 6, winning 59.28% of the vote.[4][5][6]
