Rom A. Trader is a judge of the O'ahu First Circuit of Hawaii. He was nominated by Gov. Linda Lingle and approved by the Hawaii Senate in 2009. His current term expires on March 26, 2019.[1][2][3]

Education

Trader holds a B.A and a J.D. from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.[4][1]

Career

Prior to joining the court, he worked as a prosecutor for 20 years. He has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Hawaii’s William Richardson School of Law and as a faculty member at the Hawaii State Bar Association Trial Academy.[4][1][5]
