11 seek to replace the late Judge Stautberg

Ohio: Eleven lawyers have applied to replace the late Judge Julie Stautberg, who passed away due to cancer on May 19, 2010, on the Hamilton County Municipal Court. Stautberg had served on the court since 2004 and was only 43 when she died.

Candidates who have filed for the vacancy include:

William Bell, Tom Beridon, Alvertis Bishop, Norma Holt Davis, Daniel Donnellon, Matthew Fellerhoff, Martha Good, Elisa Murphy-Persley, Craig Newburger, Michael Tranter, and Alan Triggs.

After the list of candidates is narrowed down and interviews are conducted, Gov. Strickland will appoint the new judge.[1][2]
