Abraham Lincoln Freedman (1904-1971) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Judicial career
Third Circuit
Freedman was nominated to the Third Circuit by President Lyndon Johnson on April 15, 1964, to a seat vacated by Herbert Goodrich; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 2, 1964, and received commission that same day. He served the Third Circuit until his death on March 13, 1971.[1]
Eastern District of Pennsylvania
Freedman was nominated to the Eastern District of Pennsylvania by President John F. Kennedy on September 1, 1961, to a new seat created by 75 Stat. 80; he was confirmed by the Senate on September 14, 1961, and received commission on September 22. He served the Eastern District of Pennsylvania until he was elevated to the Third Circuit on July 6, 1964. Freedman was succeeded in this position by John Fullam.
