Legal career
Judge Fujise began her legal career in 1980 as a law clerk to (former) Associate Justice Herman T.F. Lum. In 1984, she began working for the City and County of Honolulu's Department of the Prosecuting Attorney. She worked in various positions at this department until 2004. Her jobs included appellate research branch chief, deputy prosecuting attorney, director of the Research and Reference Support Division, and assistant disciplinary counsel..[1]
