Early life and education
Pepper graduated from the University of Mississippi with his Bachelor's Degree in 1963 and later graduated from the University of Mississippi Law School with his Juris Doctor Degree in 1968.[1]
Professional career
Pepper served his entire pre-judicial legal career as a private practice attorney licensed in the State of Mississippi from 1968 to 1999.[1]
Judicial career
Northern District of Mississippi
Pepper was nominated by President Bill Clinton on March 8, 1999 to a seat vacated by Lyonel Senter. Pepper was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on June 30, 1999 on a senate vote and received commission on July 7, 1999. His term ended when he passed away on January 24, 2011.[1]
