Andrew Guilford is a federal judge for the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He joined the court in 2006 after being nominated by President George W. Bush.
Early Life and Education
Born in Santa Monica, California, Guilford graduated from the University of California-Los Angeles with his Bachelor's Degree in 1972 and his Juris Doctor degree in 1975.[1]
Legal Career
Guilford was a private practice attorney in the State of California from 1975 to 2006.[1]
Federal Judicial Career
Guilford was nominated to the United States District Court for the Central District of California by President George W. Bush on January 25, 2006 to a seat vacated by Dickran Tevrizian. Guilford was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on June 22, 2006 on a Senate vote and received commission on June 26, 2006. [2]
