Andrew Phelps McCormick (1832-1916) was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. He joined the court in 1879 after being nominated by President Rutherford B. Hayes. [1]

Fifth Circuit

Andrew Phelps McCormick was a federal judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

He was nominated by President Benjamin Harrison on January 5, 1892. He was confirmed by the Senate on March 17, 1892, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on November 2, 1916.[1]

Northern District of Texas

Andrew Phelps McCormick was previously a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

He was nominated by President Rutherford B. Hayes on April 7, 1879. He was confirmed by the Senate on April 10, 1879, and received commission that same day. He served on this court until March 22, 1892.[1]
