Papay ran for an open seat on the Lehigh County Magisterial District. She was defeated by Rod R. Beck in both parties' primaries on May 17. She received 45.9% in the Democratic primary and 41.5% of the vote in the Republican primary. [1] All candidates have cross-filed with the Republican and Democratic parties. [2]
