Colorado: In less than one month, the Second Judicial District Nominating Commission will interview nominees to succeed C. Jean Stewart on the Denver Probate Court. Last week, Stewart announced that she will retire from the court in June, after serving for sixteen years. She is ready to utilize her experience in the private sector, to become a mediator. [1]
In order to become a judge on this court, one must be a resident of the Colorado Second Judicial District and have practiced law in the state for at least five years. [2]
