Augustus J. Ricks (1843-1906) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

He received a recess appointment from President Benjamin Harrison on July 1, 1889 and was nominated on December 16th. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 16, 1890, and received commission that same day. He served until his death on December 22, 1906.[1]
