Benjamin Robbins Curtis

Benjamin Robbins Curtis (1809-1874) was an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court of the United States.
He received a recess appointment from President Millard Fillmore on September 22, 1851. On December 11, 1851, he was officially nominated. He was confirmed by the Senate on December 20, 1851, and received commission that same day. He resigned on September 30, 1857.[1]
