Brown County, South Dakota

Brown County is one of ten counties located within the South Dakota Fifth Judicial Circuit.[1] The people of Brown County are served by a Circuit Court and a Magistrate Court.

The United States District Court for the District of South Dakota has jurisdiction in Brown County. Appeals from the District of South Dakota go to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
