Byron Raymond White (1917 - 2002) was a justice on the Supreme Court of the United States. He was nominated by John F. Kennedy. [1]

Federal judicial career

Byron White was nominated to the Supreme Court of the United States by John F. Kennedy on April 3, 1962. He was confirmed by the Senate on April 11, 1962, and received his commission on April 12th. White assumed senior status on June 28, 1993. His service ended with his death on April 15, 2002. [1]
