Carl Bowers is a state court judge for Cobb County, Georgia.[1] In August 2010, he was appointed by Governor Sonny Perdue to Division I of that court. He had served in Division II since October of 2005.[2][3]
Biography
Judge Bowers attended the University of Georgia, where he received his undergraduate and law (1989) degrees.[3]
Legal career
Prior to his appointment to the State Court judgeship, Judge Bowers worked as a full-time Magistrate Judge, an Assistant Solicitor-General of the Cobb State Court and a law clerk in the Cobb Superior Court. He also practiced law in the private sector for five years.[3]
