Chad E. Kukelhan is the judge for the Circuit Court of Adams County in Indiana. He was first elected in 2012, and his current term expires in 2018.
Education
Kukelhan received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Indiana University-Purdue University in Fort Wayne. He received his JD from Indiana University.[1]
Career
Kukelhan worked at the Marion County Public Defender Agency from 2001 to 2005. In 2005 he moved to Decatur, Indiana to join the firm of DeVoss, Johnson, Zwick, Baker and Ainsworth. In 2009, he began working for the Adams County Public Defender's office; he continues to work there. In 2010, Kukelhan began his own private practice.[1]
2012 election
Kukelhan ran against incumbent Frederick A. Schurger in the 2012 election and was successful in his bid, receiving 52.4% of the vote.[2]
