Charles Alvin Jones

Charles Alvin Jones (1887-1966) was a federal judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and a justice on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Jones was nominated to the Third Circuit by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on July 14, 1939, to a seat vacated by John Warren Davis; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 18, 1939, and received commission on July 25. He resigned on December 31, 1944.[1]
