Charles Holcomb

Charles Holcomb is a Justice of the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. He was elected to this position in November of 2000[1][2] and was re-elected in November of 2006[3]. His current term expires in 2012. Justice Holcomb is a Republican.
Legal education
Judge Charles Holcomb, born 1933, attended Lee College in Baytown and Lamar University in Beaumont for his undergraduate education. He served in the Air Force Reserves 1951-1953, and was graduated from South Texas School of Law in 1958.[1]
Legal experience
From 1959 to 1966 Judge Holcomb was the City Attorney for Deer Park and Orange, Texas. From 1967 to 1972, Holcomb was elected to the County Court at Law of Orange County. From 1972 to 1981, he was in private practice, and in 1981, he was elected District Attorney, where he remained for 10 years. From 1992 to 1998, Judge Holcomb served in the Twelfth Court of Appeals; in 2000, he was elected to the Court of Criminal Appeals.[1]
