Charles K. Smith is the chancellor of the Fifteenth Judicial District in Tennessee ( Jackson, Macon, Smith, Trousdale and Wilson Counties). He has served in this position since 1990. In 2006, he was re-elected without opposition to his current term, which ends in 2014.[1][2][3]

Education

Smith received his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University in 1970 and his law degree from the University of Tennessee in 1972.[1]

Legal career

Smith worked as a private practice lawyer and city judge prior to becoming a chancellor in 1990.[1]
