Charles Kahn

Charles J. Kahn, Jr. is a judge on the Florida First District Court of Appeal. [1] He was appointed to this position in June of 1991.
Biography
Charles Kahn was born on September 14, 1951 in San Antonio, TX. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1973 and went on to receive his law degree from the University of Florida in 1977. He is currently married with two children.[1]
Legal career
Charles Kahn began his career in 1977 as an Assistant State Attorney on the 12th Florida Judicial Circuit. The next year, he worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the 2nd Florida Judicial Circuit. In 1978 and 1979, he worked for the Florida Department of Transportation as a litigation attorney. After this, he worked as a private practice attorney in Pensacola until his appointment to the Court of Appeal in 1991.[1]
