Charles B. Peatross is a justice on the
Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal.
Biography
Judge Peatross is a graduate of C.E. Byrd High School and earned his B.B.A. in 1963 from Tulane University. Judge Peatross earned his Juris Doctorate in 1964 from Tulane Law School.
Legal career
Judge Peatross clerked for the Second Circuit Court of Appeal between August 1964 and August 1965. He would practice law for 31 years as Senior Partner in Peatross, Greer & Frazier in Shreveport before being elected as an Appellate Judge to the Second Circuit Court of Appeal in 1996, and again without opposition in 2002. Judge Peatross is admitted to practice law in both Louisiana and Colorado.[1]
