Charles Wyche

Charles Cecil Wyche (1885-1966) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
He was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on January 11, 1937 to replace Henry Hitt Watkins on the United States District Court for the Western District of South Carolina. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 22nd, and received his commission on January 30th. From 1948 to 1962, he was the chief judge. He served on this court until November 1, 1965, when he was reassigned to the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. He served in this position until his death on September 17, 1966.
