Circuit court judge found guilty of misconduct

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky: Harlan County Circuit Judge Russell D. Alred has been found guilty of judicial misconduct by the Kentucky Judicial Conduct Commission. [1] The six-member commission was unanimous in their ruling. Alred has appealed the decision to the Kentucky Supreme Court. Alred has been found guilty of nine counts of judicial misconduct. Among other charges, Alred has been accused of failing to maintain high standards of conduct to protect the integrity and impartiality of his office. [1]
