Citizens for Better Judges

Citizens for Better Judges (CBJ) is based in Kentucky and focuses on the Kentucky courts and judges. The organization was founded in January 1983.
CBJ makes endorsements in judicial elections. In 2008, CBJ endorses Lisabeth Hughes Abramson for the Kentucky Supreme Court; Charlie Cunningham for the Jefferson Circuit Court; and Ann Bailey Smith, David Bowles, and David Holton for the Jefferson District Court.
CBJ is governed by a 27-member steering committee made up of lawyers.
The motto of the group is, "We did the research. All you have to do is vote."
Officers
CBJ's 2008 officers are chairman Susan D. Phillips, vice-chairman Homer Parrent, III, and secretary/treasurer Darryl W. Durham.
The Citizen's Review Board co-chairmen are Reginald A. Bruce and Curtis L. Barrett.
