Mission

According to their website, the mission statement of Citizens for and Independent Judiciary is:

"[We] believe our system for electing judges is fundamentally flawed. CIJ believes in a system that facilitates ballot access and giving voters a choice. CIJ also believes candidates for judicial office should not accept campaign contributions from lawyers, law firms, or business associates that may potentially affect their impartiality."[1]
