Cocke County is located within the Fourth Judicial District. The people of Cocke County are served by a Circuit Court, a General Sessions Court, a Juvenile Court, a Chancery Court and a Municipal Court.[1]

The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee has jurisdiction in Cocke County. Appeals from the Eastern District go to the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
