Craig R. Welling is a judge on the Seventeenth Judicial District. He was appointed by Governor Bill Ritter to a term beginning January 1, 2011.[1]


Welling received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University in 1995, his Master's degree from Penn State University in 2001 and his J.D. from the University of Colorado in 2001.[1]


Since 2007, Welling has served as chief legal counsel for the administration of Governor Bill Ritter. Prior that this position, he worked in private practice.[1]
