Cynthia Aaron is a judge on the Fourth District, Division One of the California Courts of Appeal. She was appointed to this position by Governor Davis in January, 2003.[1][2]

Biography

Cynthia Aaron graduated from Standford University with a degree in psychology in 1979 and went on the receive her law degree from Harvard in 1984. She is married with children.[1]

Legal career

Cynthia Aaron began her career as a trial attorney for Federal Defenders of San Diego, Inc. She worked there from 1984 to 1988. She went on to form the law firm Aaron & Cortez with one of her colleagues. In 1994, she was appointed as a Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, where she worked until her appointment to the Court of Appeal.[1][2]
