D. Kent Savoie is a judge of the 14th Judicial District, Division A in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana.[1] He was first elected to this position on April 7, 2001. He was re-elected without opposition to two consecutive 6 year terms.[2][3] His current term expires on December 31, 2014.[4]

Education

Savoie received his B.A. degree from McNeese State University and his J.D. degree from the Loyola Law School in New Orleans.[2]

Career

Savoie has also worked as a lawyer in Lake Charles, Louisiana, with a focus on municipal law and trust and estates.[5]
