Biography
Judge Moore is a 1969 graduate of Neville High School and a 1973 graduate of Louisiana State University. Judge Moore earned his Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University Law School in 1976.
Legal career
After serving on the Monroe City Council from 1980-1984 and then as Chairman from 1984-1986, Judge Moore was elected in 1988 to the Fourth Judicial District Court. He was subsequently reelected in 1990 and 1996, and served as Chief Judge from 1997-1998. He was elected to the Second Circuit Court in 2003.[1]
