Dana A. Morris is a family court judge for the Fifth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina.[1] He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly in February 2008 and his current term expires on June 30, 2019.[2][3]


Morris received his B.A. in history and anthropology from the University of South Carolina in 1979 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1983.[2]


Before joining the court, Morris practiced law with the firm of Savage, Royall and Sheheen, specializing in family law. He became a partner at the firm and remained there until his election to the Fifth Judicial Circuit in 2008.[2]
