Daniel A. Procaccini is an associate justice for the Rhode Island Superior Court. He applied for the open seat of Presiding Judge for the Superior Court in 2009, but Alice Gibney received the nomination from Governor Carcieri .
Procaccini has clerked in Superior Court, was a practicing lawyer and was a founding partner of McGovern, Noel and Benik in 1989. He has been a Superior Court judge since 2001. He became a Roger Williams University School of Law adjunct professor in 2007.
