Daniel A. Procaccini is an associate justice for the Rhode Island Superior Court. He applied for the open seat of Presiding Judge for the Superior Court in 2009,[1] but Alice Gibney received the nomination from Governor Carcieri .[2]

Education

Procaccini earned his law degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston in 1977.[1]

Career

Procaccini has clerked in Superior Court, was a practicing lawyer and was a founding partner of McGovern, Noel and Benik in 1989. He has been a Superior Court judge since 2001. He became a Roger Williams University School of Law adjunct professor in 2007.[1]
