Education
Palmieri received his B.A. degree from St. John's College and his J.D. degree from St. John's Law School.[1][3]
Legal career
Palmieri, prior to becoming a judge, worked as the Vice President of Corporate Property Investors and in the legal field as a member of the law firm of Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein and then as an associate of the Dewey Ballantine Firm. He has also served as Senior Counsel of Reisman, Peirez and Reisman, LLP and in the public sector as a Judicial Hearing Officer of Nassau and Suffolk Counties and an arbitrator for National Arbitration and Mediation and for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). His judicial career began in 1994 when he joined the Nassau County Court. In 2011, he became a Supreme Court Justice.[1][3]
