Illinois: Daniel L. Peters has been appointed to the Cook Judicial Circuit Court, Fourth Subcircuit. Peters' term will expire on December 3, 2012, meaning that he must run in the 2012 election if he wants to keep the seat. He will succeed Jennifer Duncan-Brice, who is retiring on July 31 after winning re-election last fall. [1]
