Daphne Curtis

Daphne Means Curtis is a judge on Michigan's 3rd Circuit Court. Originally appointed to the bench by Governor James Blanchard, she was up for re-election in 2008. [1]

Legal education and experience

Curtis received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan in 1972. In 1976, she received her Juris Doctor from Wayne State University

In 1990, Judge Curtis joined the Recorder's Court, which merged with the Third Judicial Circuit in 1997.[2]
